Stand Out Branding

Brand Work
That Fits the Job

Every project starts with the same question: are you building something new, fixing something that no longer fits, or just need the mark itself? The answer decides the scope.

Not sure which you need? That's what the strategy call is for.

Positioning, naming, visual system and guidelines for businesses launching or entering a new market. Everything you need before your first customer sees you.

For established businesses whose identity no longer matches what they have become. We keep the equity you have built and fix the parts that are holding you back.

Just the mark, properly researched and delivered in every format you will need. See our logo design service.

How it works

Our Brand Identity Process

Every project follows the same five stages, so you always know what is happening now and what comes next. You approve the direction before we design, and you own everything at the end.

We reply within one business day.

Discover and Define

We run a working session with your team to align on audience, positioning, and what the brand actually needs to achieve. You get an agreed scope, timeline, and creative brief in writing before any design work begins.

Research and Direction

We review your competitors and category, looking at colour, typography, and tone to find where the gaps are. You get mood boards setting out two or three distinct directions, and you choose which one we develop.

Concept and Design

We build the chosen direction into a full identity: logo, colour palette, typography, and supporting assets. You see it applied to real touchpoints rather than floating on a white background.

Refine and Finalise

We revise until you sign off, then produce every file format you will need for print, screen, and social. Logos are supplied in vector so they stay sharp at any size, from a business card to a shopfront.

Guidelines and Rollout

You get a brand guidelines document covering usage, spacing, colour values, and typography, so your team and any agency you work with apply it consistently without asking us first.

Tailored to the Market

Branding, Built for Hong Kong

We have spent years building brands for this market, and the things that trip up overseas agencies are the things we handle by default. Here is what that means in practice.

We reply within one business day.

Bilingual identity, done properly

A brand that works in English does not automatically work in Chinese. We design the logo, lockups, and layouts so both scripts sit together properly rather than one being squeezed in afterwards.

Chinese naming that lands

A Chinese name is not a translation. It needs to sound right, mean something appropriate, and not already belong to someone else. We develop names with native speakers rather than transliterating and hoping.

Typography across two scripts

Pairing a Latin typeface with a Traditional Chinese one is harder than it looks. Weights, proportions and licensing all differ. We choose combinations that hold together across both languages.

Your Questions, Answered

The questions we get asked most often on a first call, answered properly. If yours is not here, ask us directly and we will give you a straight answer rather than a quote request.

How much does brand identity design cost in Hong Kong?

Our packages start at HK$8,000 for a logo and essentials, HK$20,000 for a full brand identity with strategy and guidelines, and HK$35,000 for a complete bilingual brand system. What moves the price is how much strategy work is needed upfront, whether you need Chinese naming, and how many touchpoints the identity has to cover.

How long does a branding project take?

A logo project can be finished in around two to three weeks. A full brand identity usually takes five to eight weeks, and complete bilingual systems run longer. The variable is rarely design time, it is how quickly decisions come back from your side, since branding involves more stakeholder input than a website build.

Do I get the source files?

Yes. You receive editable vector files alongside every export format you will need for print, screen and social. Everything is yours to use and to hand to another agency if you ever want to. We do not hold source files back or charge to release them later.

Can you create a Chinese name for my brand?

Yes, and it is one of the more common reasons overseas businesses come to us. A Chinese name is not a translation: it has to sound right when spoken, carry appropriate meaning, and avoid unfortunate associations. We develop options with native speakers and check for existing use before recommending anything.

What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is one asset. A brand identity is the system around it: colour, typography, imagery, tone, and the rules for applying them consistently. If you only need the mark itself, our logo design service covers it. If you need everything downstream to look like it belongs together, you need the identity.

Can you rebrand without losing what we have built?

Usually, yes. Most rebrands are evolutions rather than clean breaks, and throwing away recognisable equity is rarely the right answer. We audit what is working before we change anything, then keep the elements customers actually recognise while fixing the parts holding you back.

Do you design the website too?

Yes, and it is often the sensible next step once the identity is settled. Web design and UI/UX design are separate services, and plenty of clients do the branding with us and build elsewhere. We will not make one conditional on the other.

Can you produce marketing materials once the brand is done?

Yes. Graphic design covers ongoing production work: brochures, social assets, presentations, signage and packaging. Once the identity and guidelines exist, that work becomes faster and cheaper because the decisions are already made.

Is government funding available?

Possibly, for eligible Hong Kong SMEs. Several schemes cover branding and design work as part of a broader business development project, though eligibility rules differ. We can provide the itemised quotation and project scope most schemes ask for. Our guide to government funding explains the options.

Who owns the brand?

You do. The final artwork, the source files, the guidelines and the name are all yours outright. There is no licensing arrangement and no ongoing fee for continuing to use your own identity. If you ever want to move to another agency, everything transfers.
