That Fit the Job
Every project starts with the same question: how much of this site will you be changing yourself? The answer decides whether you need a theme, a custom build, or a full store.
Not sure which you need? That's what the strategy call is for.
A well-chosen theme, properly configured and customised to your brand. The fastest and most affordable route to a professional site your team can update.
Bespoke Figma designs built as a custom theme, with custom post types and fields shaped around how your business actually works. No plugin bloat.
Product catalogues, Hong Kong payment gateways, and local shipping. Best when you need a store attached to a content-heavy site. Compare with Shopify.
How it works
Our WordPress Development Process
We reply within one business day.
Discover and Define
We start by learning your business, who updates the site, and how often. If you have an existing WordPress site we audit it first. You get an agreed sitemap, scope, and timeline in writing before design begins.
Design and Develop
We design your key pages in Figma and revise them until you sign off. Then we build, either configuring a theme or coding a custom one, keeping plugin use to what the site genuinely needs.
Test and Refine
Before launch we test across browsers and devices, check load times, and run security hardening. We also verify that every content type you will edit is actually editable from the dashboard.
Launch and Grow
We handle the migration and launch, connect Search Console and Analytics, and run a training session on the WordPress dashboard. The domain, the content, the database, and the theme files are all yours.
Ongoing Support and Maintenance
Every project includes 30 days of free maintenance. After that, updates, security patches and backups are available monthly if you want them, and entirely optional if you do not.

WordPress, Built for Hong Kong
We have spent years building WordPress sites for this market, and the things that trip up overseas agencies are the things we handle by default. Here is what that means in practice.

Your Questions, Answered
The questions we get asked most often on a first call, answered properly. If yours is not here, ask us directly and we will give you a straight answer rather than a quote request.
How much does a WordPress website cost in Hong Kong?
Our packages start at HK$15,000 for a theme-based build, HK$30,000 for a custom Figma design built as a WordPress theme, and HK$45,000 for premium builds with WooCommerce or multilingual functionality. What moves the price is page count, how much custom functionality you need, and whether you need one language or two. Our guide to web design costs in Hong Kong breaks down the difference.
How long does a WordPress website take to build?
A theme-based site can be live in around three weeks. Custom builds usually take six to twelve weeks from kickoff. The variable is rarely development time, it is how quickly content, images, and feedback come through from your side. We agree a realistic schedule before starting and tell you exactly what we need from you and when.
Will you review my existing WordPress site first?
Yes, and it is usually the first thing we do. We look at the theme, the plugin stack, load speed, security posture, and how much of the site your team can actually edit. That audit tells us whether you need a rebuild or whether targeted fixes would solve the problem more cheaply, and we will tell you honestly which it is.
Should I use WordPress or something else?
WordPress suits content-heavy sites that you update often and want full control over. If you are running a store, Shopify is usually simpler. If you want a fast marketing site with strong animation and minimal maintenance, Framer may fit better. We explain the trade-offs on the call rather than steering you toward one platform. See our CMS comparison.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes, that is the main reason most clients choose WordPress. We build editable content areas around how your business actually works rather than leaving you to fight the page builder. We run a training session at launch, one hour or one and a half depending on your package, and you keep the recording. Our WordPress tips guide covers the rest.
Do I need ongoing maintenance?
WordPress needs updating in a way that hosted platforms do not, since core, theme, and plugins all release patches. You can do it yourself, and plenty of clients do. If you would rather not, our maintenance packages cover updates, security checks, backups, and small content changes monthly. Optional either way.
Who owns the website?
You do. The theme files, the database, the content, the domain, and the hosting account are all in your name. WordPress is open source, so there is no proprietary platform holding your site hostage. If you ever want to move to another agency or host, everything transfers.
Do you build WooCommerce stores?
Yes. WooCommerce works well when you need a store attached to a content-heavy site, and we set it up with the payment gateways and shipping providers Hong Kong customers actually use. If e-commerce is the whole business rather than part of it, we will usually recommend Shopify instead and explain why.
Is government funding available?
Possibly, for eligible Hong Kong SMEs. Several schemes cover website and e-commerce projects, though the eligibility rules differ between them. We can provide the itemised quotation and project scope most schemes ask for. We are a web design agency rather than funding consultants, so we do not submit applications on your behalf, but our guide to government funding for websites explains the options.
Can you help with SEO after launch?
Yes. Every build includes the technical basics, and beyond that we offer ongoing SEO and digital marketing as a separate monthly service. There is no obligation to take it, and we will tell you plainly whether your site needs marketing support or whether it will do fine on its own for now.
