Website Revamp
Website Revamp in Hong Kong
For sites that no longer convert, no longer work on mobile, or nobody can edit
We redesign existing websites for Hong Kong businesses. Most of our work is revamps rather than new builds, and we start by finding out whether you need a rebuild at all or whether targeted fixes would solve the problem for less.
Revamps typically run 4–10 weeks and start from HK$15,000

Fix It or Rebuild It
Revamps That Fit the Problem
Every project starts with the same question: what is actually broken? Sometimes the design. Sometimes the platform. Sometimes the site is fine and the problem is that nobody can find it.
Not sure which you need? The audit tells you, and you keep the findings whether you work with us or not.
Before committing to a rebuild, find out what is genuinely wrong. Performance, mobile, conversion and search visibility reviewed, with fixes ranked by what they will actually change.
A new design and build on a platform your team can manage, keeping the pages and rankings that already work. Content and URLs migrate properly rather than starting from zero.
Moving off a builder you have outgrown, a CMS nobody can edit, or a site whose original developer has disappeared. Your content and search rankings come with you.
How it works
Our Website Revamp Process
Every project follows the same five stages, so you always know what is happening now and what comes next. You approve the design before we build, and you own everything at the end.

Audit and Diagnose
We review your current site: load speed, mobile behaviour, search visibility, and where visitors drop off. You get written findings ranked by impact, and an honest answer on whether a rebuild is warranted or whether targeted fixes would do.
Plan and Protect
We map every existing URL and identify the pages already earning traffic, so nothing is lost in the move. You get an agreed sitemap, redirect plan and timeline in writing before design begins.
Design and Build
We design your key pages in Figma and revise them until you sign off, then build on the platform that suits how you work. Content migrates across, and anything worth keeping from the old site comes with it.
Test and Migrate
Before launch we test across browsers and devices, verify every redirect resolves, and check that forms, tracking and integrations all still work. The new site goes live only once the old URLs point somewhere sensible.
Monitor and Support
We watch search performance for the first month, because that is when migration problems surface. Every project includes 30 days of free maintenance, with ongoing support available monthly and entirely optional.

Revamps, Built for Hong Kong
We have spent years redesigning sites for this market, and the things that trip up overseas agencies are the things we handle by default. Here is what that means in practice.

Your Questions, Answered
The questions we get asked most often on a first call, answered properly. If yours is not here, ask us directly and we will give you a straight answer rather than a quote request.
How do I know if my website needs a revamp?
The usual signals are traffic that never turns into enquiries, poor performance on mobile, a platform your team cannot update, or branding that has moved on since the site was built. If you are unsure, the audit is designed exactly for this: HK$5,000 for a written answer on whether a rebuild is warranted, credited against the project if you proceed.
How much does a website revamp cost in Hong Kong?
An audit is HK$5,000. A refresh keeping your existing platform starts at HK$15,000, and a full redesign and rebuild from HK$35,000. What moves the price is page count, whether you are changing platform, and whether you need bilingual setup. Our guide to web design costs in Hong Kong covers what drives the difference.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the migration is handled properly, and this is where most redesigns go wrong. We map every existing URL to its new location before anything changes, implement the redirects, and monitor search performance for a month afterwards. Rankings are lost to broken redirects and missing pages, not to new design.
Can you redesign without changing my platform?
Yes, and it is often the cheaper answer. If your WordPress or Shopify setup works and only the design is dated, a refresh keeps the platform, the content and the URLs and changes how it looks and converts. We will tell you during the audit whether that is enough or whether the platform itself is the problem.
What if my original developer has disappeared?
Common, and workable. We can usually regain access through your domain registrar and hosting provider even without the original developer. If the site is on a platform you cannot get into at all, we rebuild elsewhere and redirect the old URLs across. The audit establishes what we can and cannot recover.
Can you keep my existing content?
Yes. Pages, images, blog posts and product data all migrate across. We will flag anything worth rewriting, particularly pages that are underperforming in search, but nothing is discarded without asking. If you would rather start fresh on some sections, that is your call.
Can you add Traditional Chinese during the revamp?
Yes, and it is one of the more common reasons for a rebuild. Adding a second language properly means separate URLs for each version and correct hreflang tags, which is architectural rather than something you add afterwards. A revamp is the natural point to do it. See our guide to multilingual websites.
How long does a revamp take?
An audit takes around one week. A refresh usually takes three to four weeks, and a full revamp six to ten. Revamps often move faster than new builds because the content already exists. The variable is rarely development time, it is how quickly feedback and any new content come back from your side.
What if the audit says I do not need a revamp?
Then we tell you, and you keep the report. Sometimes the site is fine and the real problem is that nobody can find it, in which case SEO and digital marketing is the better spend. We would rather turn down a rebuild than take on a project that will not solve anything.
Which platform will you rebuild on?
Whichever suits how you work. WordPress for content-heavy sites you update often, Shopify for stores, Framer for fast marketing sites. If your requirements are more involved, custom development may be the answer. We recommend on the call and explain the trade-offs.
